That means each bolt is individually tested at a proof load. Mil-spec doesn’t mean the best or the worst; it’s just in spec for a military contract. The main takeaway here is just get a full-auto weighted BCG if reliability is a concern. Full-auto profile means that the BCG is slightly longer and heavier, with an additional lug at its rear.
